Business: think about inclusivity right away
Inclusiveness is becoming a trend and a norm for many locations. It applies to both public and business places. At some point, the business finds itself with a list of needs to become accessible and inclusive, i.e. funds, time, and other resources. In addition, most people haven't encountered it before. So there are basic tips for businesses that have decided to become architecturally accessible.
First, it's not complicated. You rarely need to destroy walls or carry out any major work. Creating basic accessibility is easy. Of course, you don't have to limit yourself to the basic but continue the work. Here everything depends on the conditions available.
Second: correcting shortcomings is considerably more expensive than doing it right away, in terms of finances, time, and the effort you have to make.
Third: involve human experience. Ukraine has state building codes, created with mind, but still not covering everything. In addition, the rules say how exactly to arrange the space. Human experience will tell you how to do it. Therefore, it's better to turn to organizations dealing with this. There are enough of them. They'll help you do everything right so as not to seek advice №2.
Businesses are the ones who should set this trend. For example, if Nova Poshta makes its branches inclusive, Ukrposhta will also follow. If a coffee shop, restaurant, or supermarket is accessible, competitors will think about how to match their level.
