One ton less garbage in the Carpathians: Ukrainian IT specialists came up with a way to clean up the mountains

The Lviv branch of GlobalLogic, a large Ukrainian IT company, has developed a mobile application where tourists can mark and see polluted locations on the map to change the route and collect garbage, or ask for help from other leisure travelers.

Yurii Holovanov, a specialist at GlobalLogic, who led the application launch, told us how many people worked on the project, what inspired the team to create it, and how the EcoHike app works.
