Russia's all-out war in Ukraine has forced about five million people to flee. Internally displaced people face problems with housing, employment and social services. The host communities have the same challenges.
There are dozens of Ukrainian civil society organizations that work with internally displaced persons and try to help them solve a whole range of problems. Rubryka hosts training to enhance the exchange of experience between these organizations to improve their effectiveness.
Rubryka visited the center for the adaptation of displaced persons in Poltava and talked with specialists. The article received a lot of positive reactions and even more appeals from public organizations interested in this solution.
Our team decided to help share experiences between organizations working with IDPs across Ukraine. Together with the ZMIST Poltava NGO and the Poruch charitable foundation, we will conduct a training "Looking for Solutions: Adaptation of IDPs in New Communities."
We discuss the experience of IDPs' adaptation and their challenges. We will mention how NGOs working with refugees can pool resources, implement an effective CRM system, and develop an effective marketing strategy.
