Second wave of missile attacks and worldwide Ukrainian rallies: timeline of October 11 and key solutions

KEY EVENTS

Ukrainian army's success

📌 Ukraine's Air Force made six strikes during the last 24 hours. It was confirmed that four locations of concentration of russia's weapons, military equipment, and two anti-aircraft missile complexes were destroyed. 

📌 Ukrainian air force also struck the anti-aircraft missile complex of the russian air defense troops in the Kherson district. 

📌 Ukraine's missile troops and artillery hit the control post, four areas of concentration of troops, weapons, and military equipment, one S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, and one ammunition warehouse.

📌 Over the past day, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the russian occupiers in the areas of five settlements in the Donetsk region.

📌 The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down another russian Su-25 plane

📌 At dawn, Ukraine's air defense shot down three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones over the Odesa region. Also, air defense shot down five drones over the Mykolaiv region.

📌 The latest situation in the south of Ukraine as of this morning:

  • During the day, russia's losses were 174 soldiers, 2 Msta-B howitzers, 12 armored vehicles, two tanks, two mortars, and two ammunition depots.
  • In addition, five armored vehicles and a large-caliber gun, Giatsynt-B, were damaged.

📌 The Security Service of Ukraine eliminated two groups of the Wagner Group saboteurs in the Kharkiv region. One is dead, and four more are captured. 

📌 The total losses for russian troops reached 63 thousand!

📌 During the morning air raid, Ukraine's air defense forces shot down two rockets in the Kyiv region. In Khmelnytskyi, they shot down an Iranian drone. Air defense also worked perfectly, eliminating three missiles over the Odesa region and four missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk region. Today, the air defense forces shot down 20 cruise missiles and 13 kamikaze drones.

📌 The South operational command reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to liberate territories south of Ukraine.

📌 The Armed Forces of Ukraine made additional strikes:

  • At the russian position near occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. 
  • Explosions were also recorded at the Melitopol airfield, where the russian occupiers once again deployed a military base.
  • In the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed about 15 pieces of equipment in Bilozerka and struck a hangar with russian military equipment in Beryslav. Losses are being verified.

Consequences of shelling in Zaporizhzhia 

📌 At night, the russian invaders attacked Zaporizhzhia with 12 rockets. An educational institution, a medical institution, and residential buildings were damaged. One person died.

The number of dead from yesterday's attack in Zaporizhzhia, when the entire entrance of a multi-story building was destroyed, increased to 5. This night, rescuers pulled out three more dead from the rubble.

📌 One of the rockets the russian federation launched at Kyiv yesterday killed Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital doctor Oksana Leontieva (pictured above). A woman died on the way to work, rushing to her patients. Her car burned to the ground. Oksana worked in the bone marrow transplant department and saved children with blood cancer. Her little son was left an orphan. 

📌 In the morning, the russians carried out an attack on Ladyzhynka Thermal Power Plant in the Vinnytsia region. Two Shahed-136 kamikaze drones attacked the plant. After 2:00 p.m., russian killers struck Ladyzhynka TPP again. It happened at the moment when rescuers were working on the spot. According to preliminary information, six people were injured. 

📌 In the Lviv region, russian rockets again struck two electrical substations shelled yesterday. Power stations were destroyed. One person was injured

📌 The russians targeted the energy infrastructure in the Pavlohrad and Kamianka districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. There is severe destruction. Many settlements remained without electricity. A strict power-saving regime is introduced in the area.

📌 The russian occupiers continue to shell Mykolaiv with rockets and cannon artillery and launch kamikaze drones. The russians hit settlements of the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. Shelling was recorded on the territory of the Kutsuruby and Shyroke communities. Residential buildings are struck. 

📌 In the last 24 hours, the russians attacked the settlements of four districts of the Kharkiv region. In Kupiansk, three private houses were damaged, and there were fires. One person was injured.

📌 Bursts from shells, destroyed houses, a destroyed bridge, and shelled Lavra: these are the realities of liberated Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region. For three months, the city was under russian occupation. It is almost impossible to find a surviving house.

Near the Sviatohirsk Lavra, another torture chamber of the russian occupiers was discovered, where the russians tortured locals.

📌 The russian occupiers kidnapped Valerii Martyniuk, staff deputy general director of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and are holding him in an unknown location. The Energoatom assumes that torture and intimidation are used against him.

Currently, all six units at the ZNPP are disconnected, and the russian occupiers are forcing employees to sign contracts with Rosatom.

Life amid war

📌 In Kryvyi Rih, the rescue operation to lift the miners, who were stuck underground in four mines due to the city's blackout after rocket strikes, was completed. The rescuers brought all 854 workers to the surface.

📌 Over the course of several days, Ukraine will have intermittent power outages to eliminate the consequences of a massive russian missile attack.

📌 Another exchange of prisoners took place. 32 Ukrainian soldiers returned home. Among the released are officers, sergeants, and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Many of them were considered missing.

📌 Ukraine also returned the bodies of another 62 fallen defenders. Among them are the dead prisoners of war from the colony in Olenivka.

Thirty-seven children illegally taken to russia were returned to Ukraine

📌 Ukraine managed to return 37 children deported by the russian occupiers. They were forcibly taken from the Kharkiv region to the russian village of Kabardinka, even though they all have parents. Currently, the children have been reunited with their relatives and are in a safe place in the Zakarpattia region.

💡 Uklon joined the fundraising of Prytula and Sternenko, transferring UAH 1,300,000. Uklon users can participate in the RAM II UAV kamikaze drones fundraiser through the Donate option on the application's main screen.

💡 In one night, Ukrainians donated more than 352 million hryvnias to the Prytula and Sternenko fundraising campaign. The fund will purchase 50 RAM II kamikaze drones with ground stations for 100 million hryvnias. Another 252 million will go to exterminate the russian army. Details are promised later. 

💡 Free pizza and coffee are offered to Kyiv rescuers, who are eliminating the consequences of rocket fire, in the Miasomarket store chain until October 14. And yesterday and today, the State Emergency Service employees were treated to free shawarma at Döner Market establishments.

Danylo sold milk to help his mother

💡 A boy from the Chernihiv region, who sold milk to collect funds for prosthetics for his mother, who suffered from russian shelling, is going with her to Germany for treatment. Doctors saw the family's story on the Internet and offered help with examination and treatment.
