Over 1.6 million Ukrainians deported to russia and 800,000 steps for car for Ukrainian army: timeline of October 7 and solutions to win

Today is day 226 of russia's war in Ukraine: we talk about key events at the front, in the rear, and in the world, as well as about the major solutions that bring our victory closer.

Key events

Ukrainian army's successes

📌 Yesterday, Ukraine's air defense forces shot down more than 20 enemy drones. Among them, 15 were Iranian Shahed drones.

In total, the russians have already used 86 kamikaze drones. Air defense forces destroyed more than 60% of them.

📌 The russian military's use of Iranian drones is unlikely to significantly affect the course of the war in Ukraine, according to experts of the American Institute for the Study of War. Analysts noted that these drones do not produce effects similar to the HIMARS systems operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the south, the Ukrainian forces destroyed three russian ammunition warehouses.

📌 Ukraine's air forces made 11 strikes during the day. The authorities confirmed that Ukraine eliminated eight locations of concentration of russia's weapons and military equipment and three anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, our air defense units shot down two UAVs and two enemy helicopters.

📌 Missile forces and artillery struck one area of concentration of russian troops, weapons, and military equipment, a pontoon crossing, and an EW complex in a day.

📌 Confirmed losses of the russian army in the south are:

  • One Pivonia self-propelled gun,
  • 152-caliber howitzer gun,
  • Four mortars,
  • 15 armored vehicles.

Another six units of enemy equipment, including tanks, an armored combat vehicle, a howitzer, and a radio-electronic station, were significantly damaged.

📌 According to British intelligence, the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region are attacking the russians in three directions—from Kherson, Snihurivka, and along the right bank of the Dnieper.

Also, the offensive of Ukrainian fighters continues to break through the enemy's defense line in the Luhansk region.

In the Donetsk region along the Horlivka-Bakhmut-Pisky line, where the enemy is actively trying to break the Ukrainian forces' defense, the russian occupiers have not had significant success.

📌 Crossings across the Dnipro are under complete fire control of Ukrainian artillery. The right-bank bridgehead of russian troops in the Kherson region has shrunk by a quarter in just a few days.

📌 The group of the Mariupol Resistance "Ї" reported on the successful arson of the location where the russian officers were headquartered in Mariupol

🇺🇦 In the afternoon, photos of the Ukrainian soldiers with the Ukrainian flag appeared in the village of Biliaivka, Kherson region. ⬆️ They also inform about the liberation of the villages of Podyly and Hlushkivka in the Kharkiv region, east of the Oskil River. We are waiting for confirmation from the General Staff.
