Day 221: UA full control over Lyman, Iranian drones, humanitarian aid from Spain, counteroffensive in south

KEY EVENTS

Ukrainian army's successes

📌 The russian federation lost about 60 soldiers killed and wounded in the Zolote district of Luhansk Oblast as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian military.

📌 Most of the Russian occupiers who were in Lyman, Donetsk region, either surrendered to the Ukrainian military or "relocated" to body bags, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

📌 The Institute for the Study of War reports that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in the Kherson region and are preparing the conditions for a further offensive.

Russia war crimes

📌 The enemy launched S-300 missiles at Mykolaiv. Residential buildings and a hospital were damaged. Seven people were injured.

💡 The Council of Europe plans to allocate up to 55,000 euros for consultants to help carry out reforms in Ukraine.

💡 A plane with humanitarian aid arrived in Ukraine from Spain. The plane brought 300 kg of medicines.

💡 German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht arrived yesterday on an unannounced visit to Odesa, where she met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov. She promised that the IRIS-T air defense systems will be delivered to Ukraine "in the coming days."

💡 Denmark, Germany and Norway will finance the production of 16 Slovak Zuzana-2 self-propelled guns, which will then be handed over to Ukraine. These countries will allocate 92 million euros for the production of self-propelled guns.
