Key events as of the morning of July 19. The General Staff reports:
- In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy's combat reconnaissance in the area of the settlement of Uda ultimately failed. The occupiers suffered losses and withdrew.
- In the Sloviansk direction, after an airstrike near Husarivka, the occupiers tried to attack this settlement. Our soldiers met the enemy with heavy fire and pushed the invaders back.
- In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out assaults near Spirne without success and retreated. Attempts are being made to advance in the direction of Hryhorivka, and hostilities continue.
- In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repulsed all attempts of assaults in the direction of the settlements of Semihiria, Vershyna, Pokrovske, and the territory of the Vuhlehirska Thermal Power Plant.
- The russian army continues to fire on populated areas along the entire front line. The missile threat from russia remains high.
In the south of the country, the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked on the ammunition depots of the occupiers, the South Operational Command reports. In general, Ukraine's rocket fire and artillery elimimated:
- 65 ruscists,
- one Redut-2US radio station,
- eleven units of armored and automotive equipment.
An enemy Su-35 fighter from the area of Nova Kakhovka tried to attack our planes with an air-to-air missile but was unsuccessful.
At dawn, our rocket-artillery units delivered precise strikes on the accumulation of weapons, enemy equipment, and ammunition depots in the Raiske area of the Nova Kakovka community, and ammunition in the Berislav area. Objects destroyed. The losses of the invaders are being clarified.

Donetsk and Luhansk regions
What's happening in the Luhansk region is reported by Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration. On July 18, the russians continued to bombard a small part of the Luhansk region, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine held defenses from aviation, artillery, and rockets. The occupiers attacked from four directions and almost everywhere; the attack had already been repulsed. Meanwhile, even prisoners are being mobilized in the so-called Luhansk People's Republic.
The night explosions in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, were confirmed by the mayor of the city Oleksandr Honcharenko. "Rocket strikes on factories. They are destroying our infrastructure," he said.
The russian aggressor doesn't stop trying to advance deep into the Donetsk region. At this stage of the war, the occupying forces will focus on capturing Siversk and Bakhmut. At the same time, they will not give priority to the capture of Sloviansk. This is reported in the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Kharkiv region
Oleh Synehiubov, head of the Kharkiv region, reports on the situation in the region. During the day, five civilians were hospitalized with injuries. Active fighting continues on the contact line.
Kharkiv has been under fire for almost five months. One hundred fifty thousand city residents were left without apartments, and about 500 houses are no longer subject to restoration. Despite this, the heating season in Kharkiv will begin on October 15, although it will be "the most difficult in the history of the city," the mayor Ihor Terekhov says.
Dnipropetrovsk region
A night of anxiety and shelling is in the region. Up to 40 rockets were fired at Nikopol, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentyn Reznichenko, reports. The enemy hit the territory of the port. The explosions caused fires.
Zaporizhzhia region
In the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, the russians stole 20 grain elevators, the owners of which didn't agree to collaborate.
Kherson region
Kherson residents quietly resist the occupation. Yellow and blue-yellow ribbons are hung on trees and poles, the Yellow Ribbon Resistance Movement reports.
Mykolaiv region
In the morning, the authorities recorded strikes on private sector residential buildings in one of Mykolaiv's districts. Houses were damaged and, unfortunately, there were victims — a woman and a man were injured, Anna Zamazeieva, Mykolaiv Regional Council, reported.
In total, 29 people were injured in the Mykolaiv region over the past day, and there are no children among the victims.
Odesa region
At night, the terrorist country again shelled the Odesa region. The russians inflicted the strikes in Dachne. There is no information about the dead. It is known that four are wounded, the deputy head of the Odesa district military administration, Oleksiy Matsulevych, reported at one o'clock in the morning.
At six o'clock, the details appeared:
- The enemy hit Odesa with 7 Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea. The South Operational Command reported that air defense forces shot one down; six hit a peaceful settlement.
- Six people were injured, including a 5-month-old child.
- The recuers quickly eliminated fire on an area of 300 square meters. Ninety-five rescuers and 16 units of equipment were involved.
Vinnytsia region
In Vinnytsia, the number of victims from a rocket attack on Vinnytsia increased to 25. Tetiana Bondarenko, deputy director of the health care department, told about it. Neurologist Natalia Falshtynska died in the hospital at night.
West of Ukraine
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a team of plastic surgeons from the USA will operate on war victims free of charge. American facial plastic surgeons will operate on patients with head, face, and neck injuries. Doctors from the USA will perform reconstructive operations together with specialists from the regional clinical hospital.
