What about today?

Key points

In Vinnytsia, the Officers' House is a concert hall. Nearby is a shopping and office center, a maternity hospital, the registry office, and a medical clinic. There are residential buildings around. No target could somehow explain yesterday's missile strike—no factories, warehouses, or military units, just the city center. This is purposeful genocide. russians are fascists. russia continues to destroy peaceful Ukrainian cities, and kill children and women. russia is a terrorist state. The world should recognize this and punish putin and his gang.

In a speech at a conference in The Hague, Volodymyr Zelensky called for creating a special military tribunal to investigate russia's military aggression against Ukraine. He also urged the development of legislative mechanisms that would allow the seizure of currency reserves of the russian federation and the putin clique located in other countries and jurisdictions and their transfer for Ukraine's restoration.

"No country in the world poses such a terrorist threat as russia. No other country in the world allows itself to destroy peaceful cities and ordinary human life with cruise missiles and rocket artillery every day," said the President of Ukraine in his daily address.

"How would it be determined if someone launched a missile attack on a medical center in Dallas or Dresden? Isn't it terrorism? russia cut off the lives of civilians just at the time when a conference on russian war crimes was taking place in the Netherlands, in The Hague. Does the world remember any other terrorist organization that would allow itself such audacity? russia has thus shown its attitude to international law, to Europe, and the entire civilized world," the president added.

Since the beginning of the war, the occupiers have carried out more than 17,000 strikes on civilian objects in Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevhen Yenin.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out four airstrikes at occupiers' deployments in the south. Ukrainian aviation struck the russians near Pravdyne, Lozove, and Blahodatne, in the Kherson region. The South Operational Command reports.

Losses of the occupying troops in the Southern direction on July 14: Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer; 6 units of armored and automotive equipment; field ammunition depot.

Total russian losses since February 24. Today we have a round figure for the number of the eliminated occupiers—38,000 russians!

As of the morning of July 15, 2022, the actions of the Russian army injured more than 1,009 children in Ukraine. According to official information, 352 children died, and more than 657 were severely wounded.

Helping refugees

Reuters writes that Germany is allocating another 2.4 billion euros for Ukrainian refugees this year. According to Labor Minister Hubertus Heil, about 800,000 people from Ukraine have already found asylum in Germany, 30% of whom are under 14 years old. At the same time, the number of unemployed in Germany increased last month. This is because Ukrainian refugees are massively registered in the employment centers of Germany. These are requirements for receiving social benefits and housing compensation.

News from partners

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, called the shelling of Vinnytsia an atrocity. "Bucha, Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Kremenchuk, Sloviansk, Chasiv Yar, Kharkiv, Odesa, and now Vinnytsia—russia's Armed Forces and their proxies are leaving a trail of blood across Ukraine. Thousands of civilians have already been murdered. This barbaric russian behavior, in total disregard of International Humanitarian Law, must stop immediately," Borrell said. He added, "There can be no impunity for violations and crimes committed by the Russian forces and their political superiors."

The UN also condemned the shelling of Vinnytsia.

Sanctions on the aggressor!

The US Treasury Department has published a written explanation regarding the resumption of exports of products and fertilizers from russia. The permission to export russian food and fertilizers were obtained as part of an attempt by the UN and Ankara to strike a package deal with Moscow that would also allow the grain to be shipped from the blocked port of Odesa.

Donetsk and Luhansk regions

About 100 monks refuse to leave the territory of the Sviatohirsk Lavra, which is under the control of the Ukrainian army but is under fire from the occupiers from the other side of the Siverskyi Donets River. Ukraine's Defense Intelligence says some monks are in serious condition due to injuries, age, and illness, making evacuation impossible.

Three ships left the port of Mariupol in the direction of Rostov with a load of rolled metal. Four more ships and a tanker are going from Rostov to Mariupol, possibly with military cargo, Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, said.

British intelligence, in a new summary, writes about the situation around Siversk:

  • russian forces slowly advanced westward from Lysychansk after artillery and reconnaissance attacks in the direction of Siversk to open the way to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
  • LPR claims that russian troops have already entered the outskirts of Siversk, but it has not been confirmed.
  • The next target of the russians in Donbas after the capture of Siversk will probably be Bakhmut.

In Sloviansk, the Winds of Hope orphanage was shelled.

Dnipropetrovsk region

That night, the russians attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region at once. The head of the region, Valentyn Reznichenko, announced this.

A russian rocket hit a school in the Synelnykove district. There is severe destruction.

Valentyn Reznychenko published a photo of the aftermath of the shelling of a rural school in the Synelnykove district.

This morning, ten rockets were fired at two universities, the governor of the region, Vitalii Kim, said. At the same time, according to the mayor of the city Oleksandr Sienkevych, two people were wounded due to the shelling.

Serhii Borzov, the head of the Vinnytsia region: 23 died, three children. Among them is 4-year-old Liza. The bodies of the two children have not yet been identified. Like 11 adults.
