Located next to the church and other Ukrainian institutions, the new building completes a cohesive national "cluster" in Palatine, bringing together all the major organizations of the Ukrainian community.
The opening ceremony began with Olha Tsyntarna performing the American and Ukrainian national anthems.
Representatives of the clergy, including Bishop Venedykt and Father Yaroslav Mendyk, the pastor of the local church, led the blessing of the new center.

The center is equipped with six classrooms for language, educational, and art programs, plus a dance studio and exhibition hall for showcasing creative heritage.
The facility also features:
- A multipurpose hall with a stage for concerts and community events,
- A modern kitchen designed for cooking workshops and communal meals,
- A separate lounge for meetings across different generations of the Ukrainian diaspora.

The center's first musical event featured the bandura trio "Alvia."
Organizers stress that the main goal of the space is to unite Ukrainians from different waves of immigration and create an environment for preserving national roots far from their homeland.
