The United Kingdom has announced the allocation of a new defense assistance package to Ukraine, encompassing tanks, artillery, missiles, and other weaponry. Additionally, the package includes contracts for the maintenance of equipment previously delivered to Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, British Defense Minister John Healey announced this at the beginning of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Brussels.

"Today I announced the allocation of an additional 150 million pounds sterling for new firepower – tanks, artillery, air-to-air missiles, as well as new contracts for the repair of critical equipment in Ukraine," the head of the defense department said.

Healey emphasized that Ukraine's security is important for global security, and this war has never been about the fate of the Ukrainian nation alone. According to him, China, Iran, and North Korea are watching for any signs of weakness in the expectation that the determination of the international coalition will disappear and unity will collapse.

"When aggression goes unanswered on one continent, it emboldens regimes on others. When the border of one country is redrawn by force, it undermines the security of all nations," Healey stressed.

He called on everyone to be aware of the danger and to confront it in unity.

Rubryka reported that Healey is chairing the Ramstein format meeting in Brussels for the first time. During the opening of the meeting, he stated that the main task of this format is to provide a force component for achieving peace in Ukraine.
