The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified and approved the Poseidon unmanned aviation complex of domestic production for use in the Defense Forces units.

The Main Directorate for the Support of the Life Cycle of Armaments and Military Equipment reported that.

As Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov said, the complex was created to perform special tasks.

According to the official, his aircraft are equipped with electric motors and a modern navigation system.

Moreover, according to him, Poseidon can operate in temperatures from -20 °C to +45 °C and in strong winds.

"The battery charge is enough for several hours of continuous flight, and the operating altitude of these drones is beyond the reach of most enemy air defense systems," the Deputy Minister of Defense said.

For reference:

The Ministry of Defense recently codified and approved the delivery of the "Varan" buggy, a Ukrainian all-terrain vehicle built for harsh operating conditions.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has also officially codified and approved using a new unmanned ground robotic complex called "Tarhan" for the Defense Forces units.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense has established new requirements for quality control of items of material support for Ukraine's armed forces. Technical inspection and testing of product samples will be carried out using modern methods that meet international standards.

In 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved using roughly 30 types of small arms and nearly 10 grenade launcher models. These weapons were developed in Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the USA, and other countries, including Ukraine.
