The next group of F16 fighter jets from Denmark has arrived in Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that.

The head of state reported that the aircraft from the first batch provided by the Danes were already shooting down Russian missiles and saving Ukrainian infrastructure.

"This is leadership in protecting life that distinguishes Denmark. The aircraft from the first batch provided by the Danes are already shooting down Russian missiles and saving our people and our infrastructure.

Now, our air shield has been strengthened further. If all partners were just as determined, we would have already made Russian terror impossible. Mette, thank you, your team, and the entire Danish people!" the president said.

For reference:

At the end of July, Ukraine received the first batch of F-16 aircraft from international partners as part of military assistance. The exact number of these fighters has not yet been disclosed.

On August 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed the first F-16 fighters already arriving in Ukraine.

The second batch of F-16s from Norway is expected to arrive soon. Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov announced this after talks with Norwegian Defense Minister Gram on October 17.

It is also worth recalling that F-16 fighters shot down ten air targets during a large-scale Russian attack on November 17.

In addition, on November 28, Ukrainian F-16 fighters shot down seven cruise missiles during the last massive Russian missile attack on Ukrainian energy.

Simultaneously, the Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted 90% of the cruise missiles. The enemy's main targets were electrical substations and facilities in the fuel and energy sector. The attack resulted in 12 hits.
