Shmyhal noted that support for Ukraine's energy sector is especially critical at this time. He expressed gratitude to Japan for providing energy equipment and voiced hope for continued assistance in this area.

Another key topic of discussion was humanitarian demining. Japan has been aiding Ukraine by supplying demining equipment, financing specialized training programs for emergency response teams, and providing machinery. The Prime Minister thanked the Japanese government and people for their support in these and other critical areas.
