Ukrainian Supernova Airlines launches its first commercial flight with own aircraft
Last Sunday, November 10, Supernova Airlines flew its own Boeing 737-800 aircraft on a cargo charter flight from Budapest to Chisinau for the first time.
The Nova Poshta postal operator's press service reported that.
As previously mentioned, the flight allowed for coordinating and inspecting procedures and processes for delivering shipments to recipients in Moldova. Nova Global requested the flight.
"The next step is testing the transit of goods to Ukraine using road transport," the company emphasized.

In addition, Supernova Airlines plans to further develop the route network and gradually increase the number of flights to meet the needs of both NOVA group companies (Nova Poshta) and external customers.
"The airline is preparing to open regular flights to the USA, has an operator's certificate issued by DASU, and EASA approval for non-European carriers. The process of obtaining operating permits for flights to the USA is currently underway," the company emphasized.

For reference:
It should be noted that on October 17, Supernova Airlines, part of the Nova group, received the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) 's permission for flights in Europe (Part-TCO), which is necessary for non-European airlines. This means that the company will be able to make commercial flights in the skies of the European Union, the final preparations for which are currently underway.
The Supernova airline, under the flag of Ukraine and with Ukrainian registration marks UR-NPA, successfully completed its inaugural flight on September 18, 2024, using its own Boeing 737-800SF aircraft. This flight was part of the certification process, one of the last steps in adding the Boeing 737-800SF type to the operator's certificate approved by the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
