Russian drones attack five districts in Kyiv, resulting in fires and casualties
On the night of November 7, fragments of downed Russian drones fell in five districts of the capital, which caused fires in residential buildings and partial destruction of structures. There was one reported casualty.

Last night, the Russian occupiers unleashed kamikaze drones over Ukraine for yet another air strike—specifically, Shahed UAVs headed towards the capital. By midnight, an air raid alert was issued in Kyiv.
Later, it was discovered that the air defense in Kyiv was active, and a series of explosions were heard. Around 1:17 a.m., news of a military operation against enemy air targets in the city was reported.
At the same time, several explosions were heard in the vicinity of the city of Kyiv.
It was reported soon that the Russian occupiers' attack drones were heading towards Kyiv from the north. The Air Force gave notice of this.
According to the most recent data from Kyiv's authorities, pieces of Russian drones were discovered in five districts of the city: Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi, Obolonskyi, and Podilskyi.
Currently, only one hospitalized victim is known.
Overall, in Kyiv, the Russian drone attack resulted in damage to homes in a total of 5 districts.
Holosiivskyi district
It was reported around 2 a.m. that the wreckage of a Russian UAV had fallen in this area.
The city's mayor, Vitalii Klychko, stated that the shock wave damaged the windows of multiple apartments in a residential building. Furthermore, there were fires in garages and a nearby car service station.
The fire covering an area of 200 square meters was put out.
According to Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), there was "significant damage to an apartment in a residential building."
The KCMA has reported that an apartment in a residential building in the Holosiivkyi district was damaged. Fortunately, there was no fire. Furthermore, one person sought medical assistance.
Pecherskyi district
Around 5:30 a.m., it was discovered that the upper levels of a tall building in the Pecherskyi district were on fire due to debris from a Russian drone. Residents in the affected area were quickly evacuated due to the attack.
The State Emergency Service reported that a fire erupted on the 33rd floor of a residential building, causing partial destruction to the structural integrity of the 34th (technical) floor.
The most recent information shows that the fire spanning 50 square meters has been put out.
In addition, the State Emergency Service showed photos of the attack's consequences in the Pecherskyi district.
Solomianskyi district
According to the KCMA, the wreckage of a Shahed drone fell onto the premises of an industrial enterprise. The mayor's office clarified that the UAV's debris landed in a private residence's backyard, causing a fire in the open space.
Later, it was discovered that a drone had crashed on the premises of a private medical center in the Solomianskyi district. As a result, a fire broke out, and an evacuation is currently in progress.
According to Klychko, one victim from the territory of the enterprise was hospitalized.
Obolonskyi district
There was reportedly a fire on the top floor of a business center in the Obolonskyi district caused by debris from Russian UAVs.
No casualties were reported.
Podilskyi district
According to local government officials, a two-story private house in this area caught fire.
