TIME names Ukrainian "Diia" app one of 2024's top inventions

The "Diia" Ukrainian public services portal has been recognized by TIME as one of the world's top innovations for its "online marriage" service.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported that.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, "Diia" is currently one of the top GovTech products globally.
"We were the first to equate electronic documents with paper ones and introduced revolutionary services, particularly online marriage or re-registration of a car. And this is just the beginning!" the message reads.
TIME Best Inventions 2024 honored "Diia" in the Apps & Software category for its extraordinary impact and bold innovations, making life easier for millions.
TIME magazine's Best Inventions list annually highlights 200 innovative solutions that change the world, making it better, more convenient, safer, and even a little more fun. So, for us, it is more than an award. This is a confirmation that Ukraine is setting the trends for digitization worldwide.

Ukraine's "Diia" application is the first in the world to offer a convenient way to get married with just a few clicks. Beta testers of the service have already registered their marriages remotely and are giving positive feedback on this innovative feature. So far, five couples have tied the knot, and soon, the service will be available to all Ukrainians.
