Kadyrov claims Ukrainian prisoners killed in UAV strike on Chechen Special Forces University
In Chechnya, there were reports of the deaths of Ukrainian prisoners of war on the premises of a Russian university, supposedly due to an attack from an unidentified drone on October 29th.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, claimed that on Telegram.
He said that up to 10 Ukrainian prisoners are being held at each strategic facility in the republic. He also accused Kyiv of harming its own citizens.
"As I said earlier, there are no victims from our side due to the attack. But they are among the Ukrainian prisoners. Up to 10 Ukrainian prisoners are held at each strategic facility in the republic, in particular on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Kyiv, trying to harm us, killed its own soldiers. In the future, Ukraine must understand that such attacks primarily harm its citizens," Kadyrov said.
The Chechen leader announced that due to recent events, he had instructed his commanders to stop capturing Ukrainian soldiers and instead "eliminate" them on the battleground, intensifying hostilities.
"I told the commanders who are on the front lines not to take prisoners. To destroy and intensify the fighting," he emphasized.
It should be noted that on October 29, an unknown drone attacked the University of the Special Forces of the Russian Federation in Chechnya, as a result of which a fire broke out.
Allegedly, the fire had already been extinguished, and "no one was injured, and the university is working normally."
Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Combating Disinformation (CCP), commented on the attack on the university of the special forces in Chechnya.
"Kadyrov's special forces university was attacked in Chechnya," he stated.
The Russian Special Forces University, located in Gudermes (Chechnya), is a complex of 95 buildings and structures.
