United to win: France to supply Ukraine with its first kamikaze drones
Over the next few weeks, France will transfer its newly developed attack drones, the first of their kind, to the Ukrainian military.
The Minister of Defense of France, Sébastien Lecornu, and BFMTV reported that.
"The successful test of the first French remote-controlled munition also called a kamikaze drone. Regaining sovereignty over this key segment for our troops in less than two years," the minister said, showing a video of the new UAV.

As Lecornu noted, supplies to Ukraine and the French Armed Forces will begin "in the coming weeks."
For reference:
In March last year, the French Ministry announced an order for 2,000 French-developed drones, including the first 100 for Ukraine.
"Kamikaze drones are fundamental for conducting operations and will be able to complement the Caesar gun from the point of view of artillery," Lecornu said at the time.
As BFMTV writes, the first 100 drones intended for Kyiv were to be ordered from a consortium that unites the drone manufacturer Delair and the manufacturer Nexter. The delivery of these drones was originally scheduled for last summer.
It is worth adding that Ukraine is also ready to help France create a training center for training drone operators. This will be a step in the exchange of experience in the field of drones.
In addition, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine received new agreements on weapons thanks to negotiations with European partners. According to him, it is not only supply but also production.
In particular, there are agreements on creating joint Ukrainian-French production facilities in Ukraine.
