The Vezha battlefield video analysis platform is now operational within the DELTA combat system. It transmits live broadcasts from drones and guarantees the efficient defeat of the enemy.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this.

The Vezha platform aims to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy by facilitating improved interaction and data sharing among drone crews, artillery units, and command posts.

As the Ministry of Defense emphasizes, Vezha gives the Ukrainian military a technological advantage and eliminates dependence on other services.

Instead, the enemy still uses third-party video platforms, often blocked by their developers or the Russian authorities.

As reported by Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization:

"Thanks to Vezha, the military analyzes video from hundreds of UAVs and detects and classifies more than 4,000 intelligence objects daily. Voice communication, joint decoding of video materials, and monitoring of the effectiveness of drone units allow our fighters to act quickly and inflict significant losses on the enemy."

The Vezha module has been added to the DELTA product ecosystem. Authentication through the combat system guarantees secure data exchange and protection against unauthorized access to broadcasts.

The latest update of the Vezha mobile app now includes integration with the Mission Control unmanned aircraft complex's application planning module. This enables users to avoid frequency conflicts with FPV drones.

This app is only available through MDM (Mobile Device Management), which is basically the military version of the App Store or Play Market.

As noted, Vezha became part of DELTA thanks to the cooperation of several teams.

Initially, the 411th separate battalion  "Yastruby" ["Hawks" in Ukrainian – ed.], as part of the Territorial Defense Forces, created a platform for its own needs. Subsequently, the Ministry of Defense Innovation Center joined the creation of a unified video analysis platform based on DELTA, and the teams of the streaming platforms Tube and Raven provided their experience and work.

The Center for Scaling Technology Solutions created a streaming core and customized it for use in real-world settings. This greatly expedited the development and integration of Vezha in DELTA.

The team is expanding the streaming capabilities to support thousands of simultaneous broadcasts from drones and cameras.

The Avengers platform's artificial intelligence is also being improved for automated video detection of the enemy under challenging environments, such as camouflage or dense forest.

For reference:

DELTA is a one-of-a-kind military ecosystem designed by the military specifically for military use and meeting NATO standards. It gives you real-time access to the battlefield and showcases the air, ground, and sea status on a digital map. The platform enables information sharing within the unit and brigade and, when needed, with allied forces.

DELTA is one of the three most popular combat systems the Ukrainian military uses most often.

During NATO exercises CWIX24 in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz, the Ukrainian DELTA combat system successfully integrated with the Polish TOPAZ artillery fire control system.
