Russian aerial bombing in Kharkiv leaves seven dead and 97 injured, including 22 children

Due to the Russian aerial bomb attack on Kharkiv, the number of victims rose to 97.

Oleh Synehubov, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head, reported this on Telegram.

"According to the updated information, as a result of the enemy strike on Kharkiv, 97 people have been injured so far, 22 of them minors," the message reads.

Earlier, six people were reported dead and 59 were injured.

On the afternoon of August 30, the Russians launched five airstrikes from the Belgorod region, deploying UMPB D30 glide bombs over the Kharkiv region.

They targeted five different locations in Kharkiv, including an industrial district where a 12-story building was hit and five cars were damaged.

There could potentially be people, including at least one woman, on the higher levels of the building where the attack occurred. There is also a possibility of damage to nearby houses. All profile services function at an enhanced capacity.

In the central part of the city, the ground was scorched, and the grass ignited. In the Slobidsky neighborhood, a warehouse was destroyed, and three houses were damaged.

The mayor of Kharkiv, Terekhov, also reported that in the Nemyshliansky district, the occupiers killed a child just on the playground. According to preliminary data, there were also hits in Chuhuiv.
