Another six families, including twelve children, were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories.

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine (Ministry of Reintegration) reports this.

It is noted that these families were previously located in the territories captured by the Russian invaders in the Kherson region.

Now, the children and their families are safe. The ministry added that doctors and psychologists are working with the evacuees.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, among the repatriated children, there are:

  •  two boys
  • four girls aged from 3 to 12 years.

As the representatives of the charity organization Save Ukraine specified, they were evacuated together with their families within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA plan initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

It should be noted that since the beginning of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine, the aggressors have been constantly deporting Ukrainian children to Crimea, Belarus, or remote regions of Russia.

Earlier, it was reported that the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued a warrant for the arrest of dictator Vladimir Putin and the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Russian Federation, Maria Lvova-Belova, due to the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.

In addition, according to Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, Russia illegally deported more than 19,000 Ukrainian children.

For reference:

It should be noted that in the Donetsk region, all children were evacuated from 90 settlements, and another 4,912 children remain in 30 front-line settlements of the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts.

Rubryka previously reported that in Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, the police will search for parents who are hiding their children from evacuation.
