Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the US Special Representative for Economic Recovery of Ukraine, Penny Pritzker.

The Government portal reported that.

The head of government thanked the USA for supporting the decision of the G7 countries to provide Ukraine with $50 billion at the expense of future revenues from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation. The parties discussed the implementation of this initiative.

"It is important for us that the funds are available to Ukraine already from 2025 and it is possible to direct them to all critical needs, including the military," Denys Shmyhal said.

The parties also discussed the work of the Multidonor Coordination Platform. As the PM noted, the financing of budget expenditures, reconstruction projects and support of the energy industry remain priorities for Ukraine.

"We are introducing a systematic approach to financing economic recovery projects. The first meeting of the Strategic Investment Council under the government of Ukraine has already taken place, within two months we plan to approve the list of public investment projects for 2025 and hand it over to our partners," the Prime Minister noted.

We appreciate that the United States stands steadfastly side by side with Ukraine in our struggle for freedom," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
