Rebuilding Ukraine: UNITED24 collects over $500,000 for Ukraine in LEGO Bricks project for country's reconstruction
The project raised over $500,000, thanks to the efforts of eight contractors who showcased architectural monuments and significant cultural heritage sites in Ukraine. During the final day of the event, the platform gifted a model of the Khan Palace to Nariman Dzhelial, a Ukrainian Crimean Tatar politician who had recently been released from Russian captivity.
UNITED24 reported this.
The second installment of the Ukraine in LEGO Bricks project showcased models built by five creators from around the globe – Eric Lowe and Mark Szegedi from the USA, Daniel Seidl from Germany, Maciej Kotsot from Poland, and Oleksandr Ermolaiev from Ukraine. Using LEGO pieces, they meticulously recreated landmarks such as Kyiv's Golden Gate, Bakhchysarai's Khan's Palace, Pidhoretsky Castle, Odesa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, and Mykolaiv Astronomical Observatory.
The money raised from the first construction project was allocated to the cause of "Rebuilding Ukraine." In contrast, the proceeds from the second project went towards reconstructing the Velyka Kostroma Gymnasium in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

It is symbolic that on the closing day of the gathering, the UNITED24 platform presented the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Nariman Dzhelial, released from Russian captivity, with a LEGO model of the Khan's Palace. The model, which weighs 1.227 kg, was created using 2238 parts.
"The photo shows 1994 or 1995. We went with the school and Dzhanka on an excursion to Bakhchysarai. In the photo, my classmate Enver stands behind me on the right. His younger brother Ramsey is one of the last Crimean prisoners of the Kremlin. I thank UNITED24 for this beautiful gift – a reminder of the incredible beauty of Bakhchysaray. We hope that Crimea will be liberated. And we will be able to save the palace – the cultural heritage of our people," Nariman Dzhelial said.
