SolutionsHub: Rubryka launches new format for NGOs, activists, and experts

Based on the newly created hub, Rubryka will hold events designed to introduce and unite all those seeking change and new solutions around joint projects.

The presentation of SolutionsHub took place on July 3.

Why SolutionsHub?

In the fall of 2023, Rubryka Solutions Media relaunched its community concept, adding new opportunities for donors. In particular, community members had the opportunity to propose their news and columns for publication on the website and be the first to receive invitations to exclusive events from Rubryka.

However, the team continued to look for ways to create a strong community that would unite around common ideas. The solution was found recently.

On July 3, the team launched Solutions Hub. This space and its format of events will regularly gather activists, non-governmental organizations, and specialized experts. The hub will offer a topic for discussion and networking, help establish contacts, and create conditions for joint projects.

Rubryka's editor-in-chief and founder, Anastasiia Rudenko, explains:

"For Rubryka, SolutionsHub is not just a new stable format but a component of the strategy. Our team aims to influence social processes. For this, it is necessary to stitch different experiences, expertise, and organizations to stimulate the search for points of contact between them so that there are common denominators and solutions to problems.

The first step for this is to tell stories and make constructive cases more visible, to gather an audience of caring people around you. But let's take the second step — to network among non-governmental organizations and join the advocacy processes and campaigns of partners who can be trusted. We already have a lot of change-making organizations in our community, so SolutionsHub is, first of all, for them. Although we will be hosting these events and expanding the community circle, all new volunteers will be able to join the events."

How to get to the events at SolutionsHub?

On July 3, the team held the first event in a new format — it gathered ten representatives of NGOs and communal structures ready to cooperate. According to the results of the meeting, the first agreements on cooperation have already been reached. The result is already there — agreements between the participants on:

  • online meeting on environmentally-friendly reconstruction;
  • excursion to a waste processing plant;
  • event on working with volunteers for public organizations.

Members of the Rubryky community will be the first to get access to registration for the next SolutionsHub events. After some time, registration will be open to everyone, but the number of spots will be limited.
