In 2018, the Russian military incorporated this complex into its operations. The mobile station was specifically developed to enhance the performance of radio relay units in the field.
It enables a significant extension of the line of sight for objects, ultimately enhancing the efficacy of command and staff functions for the troops.
It is worth mentioning that the first recruiting center of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's armed forces has opened in the capital. Here, those who want to join the forces can get detailed information and professional support.
The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's armed forces are a distinct division within the Ukrainian army, comprising special purpose units and informational and psychological special operations units.
The unofficial national anthem is the song "Quietly Came, Quietly Left", written during the Russian-Ukrainian war. During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, soldiers of the forces carried out several critical special operations. These included:
- Hunting down and attacking the radar station of the Russian occupiers, "Kasta."
- Destroying an infantry armored vehicle and an enemy tank in the gray zone in Donetsk.
- Using HIMARS to target the enemy's "Sinitsa" electronic warfare system.
- Special Operation Forces fighters eliminating a group of occupiers on the Avdiivka front.
- Using HIMARS to target the most modern radar complex of the Russian Federation, "Yastreb-AV."
- Utilizing HIMARS to strike the Russian "OSA" air defense system.
- Destroying the Russian Fara radar station.
- Destroying a Russian radar station and equipment on one of the mining platforms in the Black Sea.
