BGV Charity Fund and FC “Polissia” present symbolic check to 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion
Before the match on May 29 at the stadium in Zhytomyr, FC "Polissia" and the fund presented another symbolic check, this time for 517,000 hryvnias, to a representative of the 132nd Reconnaissance Battalion of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Overall, FC "Polissia" collected and transferred 1,493,004.84 hryvnias from spring home matches against the football clubs of "LNZ," "Oleksandriya," "Chornomorets," "Vorskla," and "Kolos."
With a portion of these funds, the BGV Charity Fund has already purchased five motorcycles, two radio-electronic warfare (REW) systems, and one reconnaissance drone. Another portion — 345,000 hryvnias — was given to the "Tribune of Heroes" charity foundation, which supports the families of football fans who died defending Ukraine.
The BGV fund's charity corner has worked in the FC "Polissia" fan zone, where every donor receives an exclusive branded item during the spring matches.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, FC "Polissia" and the BGV Charity Fund have continuously supported Ukrainian military needs through joint projects.
