Russia shells Zaporizhzhia, injuring six civilians
Today, on April 5, three explosions were heard during an air raid in Zaporizhzhia. The Russian attack on the regional center has left people wounded.
Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this.
He said that around 3:18 p.m., several explosions rang out in the regional center.
It should be added that at 3:02 p.m., the Air Force of Ukraine warned about the threat of ballistic weapons in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Already at 3:14 p.m., the mass media reported on the first explosion in the city.
Explosions were also heard in Kharkiv. The Russian occupiers dropped guided aerial bombs.
Six people were injured.
According to Zaporizhzhia Mayor Anatoly Kurtiev, according to preliminary data, six people were injured as a result of the shelling. In particular, the following were damaged:
- three high-rise buildings;
- one private sector building;
- a dormitory and a trade establishment.
For reference:
Only in March of this year, the Russian invaders used more than 400 missiles of various types, more than 600 Shahed attack drones, and more than 3,000 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine.
However, the Russian Federation may repeat massive shelling of Ukraine. The invaders have taken a break and are probably stockpiling resources for attacks.
