Russia enlists 30,000 new soldiers monthly for war in Ukraine – British intelligence
About 30,000 new soldiers join the Russian army every month. This allows the Russian authorities to cover their losses and continue the war against Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain reported this, citing its intelligence.
In particular, British intelligence notes that Russian troops "continued their gradual advance to the west of Avdiivka." They also assume that at the end of March 2024, the Russians could take control of two villages – Tonenke and Orlivka.
"Russia continues to attack several other points on the front line but has made little progress in recent weeks," the report said.

The intelligence added, "Russia has a significant quantitative advantage, particularly in equipment and ammunition."
"Probably, every month, it [the Russian Federation — ed.] recruits approximately 30,000 additional soldiers and, most likely, may continue to suffer losses and continue attacks aimed at exhausting Ukrainian forces," the report says.
Earlier, British intelligence reported that this year, Moscow's plans to create two new armies will already face a lack of new equipment and infrastructure problems. However, there will be enough soldiers.
It is reported that they will be formed from 14 divisions and 16 brigades. These units' exact type, location, and composition have not been specified, although a combination of mechanized, armored, artillery, and logistics units is most likely.
For reference:
Moscow plans to continue replenishing the occupiers' ranks. Recently, it was predicted in Britain that Putin intends to call up another 170,000 people for the war against Ukraine.
Putin said that by the end of the year, he would recruit half a million Russians for the war against Ukraine; currently, 617 thousand are already fighting.
It is worth adding that on March 25, Ukraine's defense forces eliminated almost 800 more invaders, so the total losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in human power have already amounted to more than 438,160 soldiers.
