Ukrainian resistance in occupied Berdiansk blows up vehicle carrying Kremlin elections organizer
Ukrainian resistance in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region eliminated one of the organizers of the Kremlin elections in Berdiansk.
Olena Ilyina was killed in the Kolonia neighborhood, the local governor reports. She died in the hospital after sustaining heavy injuries.
"When the woman got into her car, an explosive device went off. She died in the hospital from her injuries," said governor Viktoria Halitsyna.
Her son, Mykyta Samoilenko, actively supported Russian troops at the beginning of the occupation, made public appearances and became a well-known figure. The former janitor got a position in the Kremlin-backed administration.
Luhansk resistance movement recently destroyed a car of a former head of local militia Mykhailo Filipenko, killing him on the spot.
In October, the Resistance Forces movement blew up a car carrying Russian troops who were looting the apartments of residents in Melitopol.
