Solutions to win: ten Ukrainian cities to host free 3D printing workshops for military production skills training

"Print the victory": 3D printing workshops will be introduced in ten cities across Ukraine, where participants will learn how to utilize 3D printers and create essential military supplies, such as equipment for drones, connectors, and more. This initiative is a collaboration between the Honcharenko Center, ARTLINE, and the DrukArmy volunteer group.
Rubryka informs about this.
What is the problem?
Supporting Ukrainian defenders requires many resources. We are talking not only about equipment and weapons but also various household items and trinkets used as consumables. Including:
- resets,
- launch platforms for drones,
- connectors etc.
What is the solution?
Ten cities in Ukraine will be launching free workshops on 3D printing. These workshops will teach participants how to use 3D printers and create essential items for the military.
How does it work?
According to the organizers, in this way, they aim to popularize 3D printing among Ukrainians and involve them in volunteer activities. After all, every printer owner, even at home, can bring victory closer.
Printing workshops are opening immediately in ten cities:
- Chernivtsi,
- Cherkasy,
- Kropyvnytskyi,
- Mykolaiv,
- Rivne,
- Khmelnytskyi,
- Kryvyi Rih,
- Ivano-Frankivsk,
- Odesa,
- Podolsk.
Printers for the volunteer project were provided free of charge by the Ukrainian company Artline.
"3D printing technologies have great potential to change several industries, and we want to contribute to forming qualified specialists capable of introducing innovations in various fields. So this cooperation is our contribution to the development of 3D printing in Ukraine, and now to help the army. After all, with these printers, you can create many products necessary for the army: from connectors for Starlink to discharges that help destroy the occupiers," the ARTLINE team shares.
Within the project, workshop visitors will be able to:
- take an introductory course on using a 3D printer,
- learn the rules of printing,
- independently launch the production of the first products.
Training mentors will be volunteers of the DrukArmy project; they will conduct free master classes and help workshop participants.
"The main principle is that the military should not pay for our products. Not even for delivery. They already pay for everything by protecting us. I am sure that our project will help bring the idea of such volunteering to an even greater number of Ukrainians. This is important because everyone can print for the military: teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Therefore, it is possible to help everyone," says co-founder of DrukArmia, blogger and volunteer Yevhen Volnov.
To join the work of the workshop in the Honcharenko center of your city and get acquainted with 3D printing, it is enough to fill out the form via this link.

ARTLINE, a Ukrainian company, was established in 2016 by a group of individuals passionate about bringing advanced technologies into our daily lives. Presently, the company is the top manufacturer of computers and a distributor of cutting-edge 3D printers and Creality filaments in Ukraine. ARTLINE's main objective is to integrate innovative solutions to promote the country's technological growth. The company primarily focuses on advancing 3D printing technologies and supporting and nurturing a community of enthusiasts.
DrukArmy is a community of Ukrainians who print everything on 3D printers that the soldiers of Ukraine's armed forces can use to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders. In particular, we are talking about connectors for Starlink, launch platforms for drones, and resets for drones. As of September, a community of almost 1,000 printers delivered more than 15 tons of military-grade plastic products to the front.
It should be noted that the DrukArmy volunteer community and the educational and cultural spaces of the Honcharenko Center are launching a network of free 3D printing workshops. The project will work in Dnipro, Kyiv, and Odesa in the first stage.
It was also reported that a school of UAV operators for teenagers is being launched in the educational, cultural, and volunteer space of the Honcharenko Center in Ivano-Frankivsk. All classes are free and intended for schoolchildren and students aged 14 to 18.
