Death toll from Kharkiv missile strike rises to 10 – governor

Ukrainian rescuers have completed operations at the site of a five-story building destroyed by a Russian missile in Kharkiv.

The bodies of two more people and two dogs were recovered from under the rubble. The rescuers cleared the derbis, removed and dismantled the emergency structures. Over two days, they took out 160 tons of construction debris using heavy engineering equipment.

Ten people died in yesterday's Russian attack on Kharkiv.

This was the second attack on Kharkiv on January 23, as there was also a series of attacks around four in the morning. According to preliminary reports, a residential building and civilian infrastructure were damaged.

A medium-pressure gas pipeline in the city was damaged in the shelling, which has not occurred since the beginning of this winter.

Over the past week alone, the enemy has launched 19 missile attacks on the Kharkiv region, using 26 S-300 missiles and three "Iskander-M" missiles.

As a result, 16 people were killed, including one child, and 78 people were wounded. 13 buildings were destroyed, including one hospital, three educational institutions, and six residential buildings.
