Warhead of Russian rocket falls on cemetery near city of Dnipro

In the central Dnipropetrovsk region, sappers from Ukraine's State Emergency Service neutralized the warhead of a Russian aviation missile. 

According to the rescuers, a warhead of a guided Kh-59 missile was discovered in the Dnipro district on the territory of a local cemetery, Rubryka reports. 

Sappers safely removed and transported the warhead to a specially prepared location, where they destroyed it in accordance with safety regulations.

Eight pyrotechnicians and two units of specialized equipment from the emergency service were involved in the operation.

Situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On Monday, January 22, the Russian forces again targeted the Nikopol district. The Russians directed two kamikaze drones there and shelled the area with artillery an equal number of times. The district center and the Myrivka community were affected. A car wash was damaged, but fortunately, there were no casualties among the civilians, according to the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak.

Today, the Russians carried out a high-precision missile attack, including on the city of Pavlohrad. People heading to work in the morning were affected by the attack. One person died, and another man is currently receiving medical assistance as a result of the attack.

During the night and morning of January 23, the Russian forces launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using cruise, ballistic, aviation, and guided anti-aircraft missiles.

As a result of Russia's massive missile attack on Ukraine, it was initially reported that five people had died, and at least 40 had been injured across the country.

However, later information confirmed that the number of casualties from the Russian attack on Kharkiv increased to 5.
