Russian forces attack southern Nikopol with artillery and drones, injuring three
Russian forces shelled the southern city of Nikopol, located on the central bank of the Dnipro River near the occupied Enerhodar, from where is actively attacked.
The shelling injured three civilians, says the head of the local administration Serhii Lysak.
"The enemy was attacking Nikopol region all day long. They used seven kamikaze drones and fired four times from artillery. They targeted Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities. However, Nikopol suffered the most," he said.
The survivors are in moderate condition in the hospital. A five-story building and five private houses were damaged in the town. Power lines were ripped out. More than 100 families stay without electricity.
Previously, two people were killed in a Russian missile attack on the morning of December 8 in Pavlohrad. The number of wounded increased to 8 people.
