BGV Fund supports youth Greco-Roman wrestling tournament

The BGV Charity Fund has backed the organization of the All-Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament dedicated to Ukrainian defenders. The competition took place in Kyiv on October 14–15 and involved wrestlers in the under-14 age category. The youngest participants were born in 2016, while the oldest were born in 2009.

"Despite the ongoing war, life continues. We still need to seek opportunities and organize various activities for children — provided all safety measures are strictly followed," said Polina Aldoshyna, the director of the fund. "These activities include sporting events that strengthen character and help young athletes keep their bodies in proper physical shape."

The Youth Sports School organized the tournament to popularize Greco-Roman wrestling, promote a healthy lifestyle, provide a competitive experience, and strengthen friendly relationships among young athletes. The contest was also designed to help athletes achieve sports rankings, enhance sports skills, and identify strengths.
