Ukrainian Air Force downed 29 out of 38 Russia-launched drones overnight
On the night of November 18, Russian forces launched 38 Shahed drones at Ukrainian regions, following the same route from south to west.
The air defense forces downed 29 enemy targets, the press release says.
The attack occurred from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. from the north and south-eastern directions (Kursk region, Primorsko-Akhtarsk)
The enemy drones attacked in 12 waves in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force. The units used aviation, missile systems, firing groups to repel the full-fledged attack.
Ukrainian forces nd monitoring groups indicated that the drones attacked in the direction of the southern, western and northern regions, with Shaheds flying towards Kyiv, Khmelnytsky and Odesa regions.
The Kyiv Military Administration noted that nearly a dozen Shahed attack drones were shot down by air defense forces near the capital.
