Russian missile hits Liberian-flagged vessel heading to Ukrainian port killing one
Russian forces hit the Liberian-flagged civilian vessel heading to the southern Odesa port with a missile, South Forces Group reports.
The hit killed one person and injured three crew members, citizens of the Philippines.
Continuing the terror of civilian shipping, the enemy insidiously fired an X-31P anti-radar missile in the direction of one of the ports of Odesa region from tactical aircraft in the Black Sea, the statement said.
The vessel was supposed to transport iron ore to China, Ukraine Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said.
Kubrakov said this is not the first time that Russian forces have attacked civilian vessels in the Black Sea. In July, the enemy forces damaged five vessels with shelling over nine days.
