Russian troops increase the density of minefields on Bakhmut front – AFU General Staff
On September 28, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Marinka and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, and Urozhayne in the Zaporizhzhia region, while Russian troops attempted to regain lost ground near Chervone.
Over the past day, aviation carried out 13 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, one strike on an anti-aircraft missile system, and two strikes on enemy electronic warfare stations.
Also, our defenders destroyed two reconnaissance drones at operational and tactical levels.
Ukrainian missile troops' units destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system, 11 artillery systems, and an enemy ammunition depot.
The Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol sector, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut sector, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and deplete the enemy along the entire front line, the military added.
Russian forces attacked Ukrainian regions at night with kamikaze drones, using 39 Shahed-136/131 strike drones. The enemy launched 76 air strikes and fired over 40 multiple-launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.
