Russian bombing in Kherson region kills three and injures four civilians

On Friday, September 8, the Russian occupiers dropped an aerial bomb on the village of Odradokamianka in the southern Kherson region. 

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said the strike killed three civilians and wounded four, Rubryka reports.

Two women and one man received fatal injuries. The women were 48 and 40 years old, and the man was 46.

Klymenko said that investigative and operational groups, forensic experts, rescuers, and volunteers work to eliminate the consequences. They are also documenting the incident as a Russian war crime.

Situation in Kherson region

Over the past day, the Russian forces launched 62 attacks, firing 281 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad launchers, UAVs, and anti-tank rocket systems. The Russians fired seven shells at the city of Kherson. The Russian military targeted the residential areas. One civilian was killed, and two were injured.

On Thursday morning, September 7, the Russian occupiers shelled the Kherson region, killing one civilian and injuring two civilians. The Russian forces also hit the center of Kherson. On September 5, Russian troops shelled Ivanivka in the Berislav district of the Kherson region. Two local residents were injured.

On Sunday, September 3, Russian invaders shelled the Kherson region again. This time, they hit residential buildings in Bilozerka and Kherson. On September 1, around 19:00, the Russian military shelled a village in the Bilozerka community in the Kherson region. A tractor brigade on the territory of an agro-enterprise came under fire. The driver of the tractor received non-life-threatening injuries.
