Solutions to win: Ukrainian border guards receive 50 US-made armored personnel carriers
23 enterprises of the Ukrainian fuel and energy complex collected funds and purchased 50 American-made M113 armored personnel carriers for the needs of the State Border Service.
The press service of the Ministry of Energy reported this.
What is the problem?
Serhii Deineka, the head of the State Border Service, has called for help for the 15th brigade of the mobile border detachment "Steel Border."
This unit of the Offensive Guard holds and defends the positions on the Kupiansk-Lyman front.
Deineka also explained the steps to give the border guards the necessary weapons and which new means have already reached the border units.
"The main motivation is that we are different; we really want to win as soon as possible, so we will find, buy, and cooperate with partners to get everything possible. The main thing is to protect yourself, protect our Ukraine. You are really the pride of the border guard, the pride of the entire Ukrainian people. And these are not lofty words; this is the truth that I have to tell you. I am proud of each of you," the head of the department emphasized during a meeting with the guardsmen.
What is the solution?
According to Minister Herman Halushchenko, representatives of 23 Ukrainian fuel and energy complex companies responded to the border guards' request.
The minister added that representatives of various enterprises, from the oil and gas to nuclear industries, as well as distribution and gas transportation system operators, were involved in the fundraising.
