On the National Day of Knowledge, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, presented the innovative educational digital project "Mriia" to Ukrainian schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers.

The Office of the President reports the Ukrainian leader unveiled the new "Mriia" — or "Dream" in Ukrainian — app during a video conference meeting with students and teachers from almost 40 educational institutions from Ukraine and abroad.

The president stated that today, the world is constantly changing, and some things lose their relevance while something, on the contrary, becomes more important. Each child also changes during their studies, so they need a kind of navigation to find themselves in this world.

The main goal of the "Dream" project is to give children their personal, educational space and a unique development algorithm to open the opportunity for every Ukrainian to become what they want to be.

The app will help the child, parents, and teachers to navigate the educational process and beyond more effectively and will indicate in time what to pay attention to and what to devote more time to. It will contain a library of content that the specific child needs, information about educational programs, courses, video materials, extracurricular activities, Olympiads, and clubs.

"The app will recommend what a specific child needs based on their educational path, talents, and what can be outlined as a dream right now," said Volodymyr Zelensky. "Age doesn't matter. Location doesn't matter. The major thing is the child's success."

Thanks to the app, each child will have their own portfolio in education, with information about achievements and plans. "Dream" will have a convenient interface to monitor the child's schedule of classes and extracurricular activities.

The app offers the child ID feature — a unique digital document for greater protection and opportunities in the adult world, similar to the Diia app.

"Dream" will help parents know if their child is safe during air alerts with one click in the app after the teacher has taken the children to the shelter.

Also, parents will be able to see what their child is more talented in, understand what the child needs help in, and what they succeed in brilliantly. The app will contain content for parents, which will contribute to their self-development. The application will also allow parents to receive feedback from the teacher.

"It is very important that 'Dream' will finally make the life of teachers easier. We remove as many pieces of paper as possible. All kinds of forms that need to be filled out now. The maximum attention of a teacher is to teach, not to waste time," Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Thanks to the app, the teacher will be able to use not only standard materials to prepare lessons but also special courses. It can make learning more interesting.

As the president reported, by the end of this year, the Ukrainian government plans to start familiarizing test schools with the pilot project. Next year, after the "pilot" is implemented, the project will be scaled to other educational institutions in Ukraine.

Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science, and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, and Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi will present every detail of the project step by step.

"All the dreams of Ukrainians must come true. The state is a tool," said Zelensky. "I believe very much in our 'Dream.' Because I want to believe in you. Each and every one. I want to be proud of you. I want Ukrainians to succeed. To everyone who studies, who teaches and who dreams as a father, as a mother, that the child will be able to achieve anything and find themselves in life."
