Russian missile struck an industrial facility in Ukraine's eastern Poltava region, targeting a town of Hoholeve, killing three, says Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

All the injured are employees of the targeted facility. The search continues for one more person under the rubble, according to Lunin.

Three people died as a result of a Russian strike on an oil mill in Poltava region. One more is missing. We are searching for him. Five people sustained injuries of varying severity, the minister noted.

Hoholeve lies around 50 kilometers northwest of Poltava, the capital of Ukraine's east-central Poltava region, which is rarely subjected to Russian attacks.

On the morning of Monday, August 28, an air alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine. The Air Forces warned of a missile threat, mainly possible launches of Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea. Soon, the air raid warning spread to the west of Ukraine.

Later, the Air Force reported an industrial facility was destroyed in the Poltava region, and private houses were struck in Kryvyi Rih during a missile attack on Ukraine.

Rubryka reported that on the night of August 27, a large-scale air alert sounded throughout the country, and the Russian forces launched cruise missiles toward Kyiv. Air defense forces shot down all Russian aerial targets.

Anti-aircraft defense shot down four air targets in the Ukrainian sky. As the pilots reported, the cruise missiles were fired from five strategic aviation planes from the airspace of the Russian Federation in the Engels region.
