Russian troops hit Kherson region with artillery, killing six, including a newborn

Russian forces shelled two villages in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson on Sunday, killing six civilians, including a baby, Ukrainian authorities said on Sunday.
Two people were killed and one wounded in the neighboring village of Stanislav, being struck 12 times with artillery, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported.

The terrorists will never willingly stop killing civilians. The terrorists must be stopped. With force. They don't understand anything else, he said.
The enemy also destroyed and damaged five private residential buildings with shelling.
A couple, their 23-day-old child, and another man were killed in the village of Shyroka Balka, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said. The couple's 12-year-old son was critically wounded.

Authorities added that the Russian army fired at the store in the town of Komyshany, severely injuring a 49-year-old man and lightly a 51-year-old woman.

Around 4:30 a.m., Russian forces struck a settlement of Veletenske, injuring a 28-year-old man. He suffered burns on 70% of his body. Now he is in the intensive care unit, as doctors are fighting for the victim's life.
