Ukraine's air defense downs 15 Russian drones over Kyiv

On Thursday night, August 3, during a Russian attack in the airspace near Ukraine's capital, the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine downed all aerial targets.
Rubryka reports, citing the statement of the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko, that these are almost 15 Shahed kamikaze drones.
The official noted that the current attack by UAVs on Kyiv was the eighth in a row, and, like last night, it was massive. "About one and a half dozen air targets were detected and destroyed by the forces and means of air defense on the approach to Kyiv," he said, adding there are currently no reports of destruction and casualties.
"By the way, this last air raid in the capital lasted exactly 3 hours. It was the 820th for Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The enemy will surely pay for each of these raids!" said Popko.
Night attack of kamikaze drones
Russian troops again staged another air attack on Ukraine, using kamikaze drones. Signals about the threat of airstrikes sounded in the northern, central, eastern, and southern regions.
The Air Force command warned of the threat of the Russian use of attack UAVs. Around 01:40, the Kyiv administration announced the work of anti-aircraft defense against drones in the Kyiv region near the capital and urged citizens to stay in shelters. The alarm lasted about three hours.
Last night, August 2, Russian troops also attacked the southern Odesa region and Kyiv with Shahed kamikaze drones.
Russian attack on the Odesa region on the night of August 2 damaged almost 40,000 tons of grain, which was waiting in Africa, China, and Israel.
