Fierce battles continue on Kupiansk, Lyman, and Svativ fronts despite Russia's lack of advancement – Ukraine's deputy defense minister
The Russian invaders are unsuccessfully trying to advance in the direction of on the Kupiansk, Lyman and Svativ fronts.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar said this on the air of the national telethon.
"Now we feel the enemy's assaults the most on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, but they are also trying to attack the Svativ front as well. We are repelling enemy attacks there all day today.
It must be said that for the second day in a row, we have recorded an increase in shelling from the enemy on the Bakhmut front, and in fact, our defenders are under continuous artillery fire on all these fronts."
Also, Maliar notes that where the enemy is trying to conduct assaults (Kupiansk, Lyman, Svativ fronts), the enemy is not advancing, but very fierce battles continue.
As for the Bakhmut front, the Defense Forces are advancing in the southern direction; on the northern flank, the enemy is trying to regain their former positions, but, according to the Deputy Minister, they are not succeeding.
