Mykolaiv region has restored 17 out of 20 bridges destroyed by Russia
In the Mykolaiv region, 17 of the 20 bridges, destroyed by Russian shelling, were fixed back up.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported this at the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration briefing on July 26, Ukrinform reports.
"The Mykolaiv region is the leader in terms of the region's recovery pace after the Russian shelling. In particular, we have already managed to restore 17 bridges out of 20 that were destroyed. And this is a kind of record," said Kim.
Also, according to him, 850 kilometers of roads have been damaged since the beginning of the war, or about a quarter of all existing ones. Their repair is still in progress.
In general, 27.4% of civil objects have been restored in the region, most in housing and communal services, bridges, and roads (98% and 94%, respectively).
