Ukraine will explore options to sustain grain corridor – Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed to prepare a set of actions to sustain the grain corridor of the Black Sea Initiative and to develop appropriate diplomatic measures.
He reported this on Telegram after the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters meeting.
"For Chief Zaluzhnyi, Commander Neizhpapa, and Minister Kubrakov, prepare a set of actions to continue the work of the grain corridor. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will work out similar diplomatic steps," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader said that systematic work is underway to protect Ukrainian ports and the infrastructure of the grain initiative.
"We understand the risks, threats, and prospects," the ]resident assured.
According to him, the Commander of the Navy, Oleksii Neizhpapa, and Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov gave reports at the meeting.
Background
On July 17, Russia announced it would terminate its participation in the agreement with Turkiye and the UN or the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
President Volodymyr Zelensky explained that the agreement between Ukraine, Turkiye, and the UN on exporting agricultural products remains valid.
