Commander of the United Forces of Ukraine's armed forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, said there is no direct threat from Belarus and Russia. If the level of threats rises, an increase in troops is foreseen.

The United Forces of Ukraine's armed forces command reports this on Facebook.

"Right now, there is no direct threat of offensive ground forces to Ukraine from Belarus and Russia in the area of responsibility of the Northern Group of Forces. However, if the situation escalates, the increase of forces, means, and other practical measures to increase the group's defense capabilities are foreseen," – Nayev mentioned.

According to the commander, intelligence does not stop its work on obtaining information. In addition, the Ukrainian army is constantly in contact with foreign partners regarding daily data exchange.

"We are aware of the information we have, but we don't waste time. This means that all military personnel in the Northern Operational Zone, without exception, professionally perform the tasks assigned to them," Nayev emphasized.

In its turn, the command is gradually increasing defense capabilities and is engaged in measures to improve personnel training.

"The personnel is coordinated, and the commanders know how to manage their subordinates properly and how to act in case of necessary reinforcements," Nayev emphasized.

For reference:

Vyorstka, a Russian publication, reported that Belarus has started to construct camps to house Wagner Private Military Company mercenaries after striking a deal with Alexander Lukashenko, who had been negotiating with Yevgeny Prigozhyn [ the head of the Wagner PMC – ed.]

The State Border Service of Ukraine denied this information. The State Security Service emphasized that intelligence is carefully monitoring the situation in the country, which is an accomplice of the aggressor state of the Russian Federation.

On June 27, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko, said that no camps are being built in Belarus for the Wagner PMC, but "they will help with accommodation" if necessary.

However, a combination of factors and new satellite images indicate that a military camp is being built in Belarus for the mercenaries of PMC Wagner.

As previously reported by Rubryka, the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, said that in the north of the country, the construction of a system of engineering barriers on the border with Belarus and the Russian Federation continues.

He also reported that the construction of psychological and tactical obstacle courses had been completed in the Northern operational zone.

In addition, on June 30, President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the situation at the front and threats from Belarus.
