United24 funds bridge reconstruction in Mykolaiv region

In the Mykolaiv region, another bridge, which the occupiers destroyed in March 2022, was rebuilt at the expense of United24.

The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced this.

"The Russians destroyed it in March 2022. The front line was located nearby. Many people lost their homes and left their native places," Fedorov wrote.

The recent construction of a new bridge is expected to alleviate traffic along the primary route connecting Mykolaiv and Kherson, providing greater convenience and expediency of travel for the local population.

The Minister of Digital Transformation also added that in total, thanks to United24, 15 bridges in three regions have already been rebuilt.

The UNITED24 initiative became operational on May 5, 2022. This is a platform for collecting funds to help Ukraine, which provides the opportunity to donate in one click from any country.

During the year of work, more than 325,000,000 dollars of contributions from international companies, Ukrainian businesses, charitable organizations, world celebrities, and donors from 110 countries were received in the National Bank of Ukraine accounts.

All funds go to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine, secured by the relevant ministries: the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
