Russian forces abducted another 600 Ukrainians from occupied territories
The occupiers continue to carry out the illegal transfer of Ukrainians. According to pro-Ukrainian partisans, Russian forces have taken another 600 people from the temporarily occupied territories.
According to Ukrainian partisans, from late May to early June, another 600 Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied regions were deported to Russia's Rostov region, Center of National Resistance reports.
Most cases are reported from Debaltseve and Dokuchaevsk in the Donetsk region and Starobilsk in the Luhansk region.
These towns are where the distribution camps are located, where residents are held before deportation.
Russia authorities then instruct the so-called "Ministry of Transport" to provide buses. At the same time, the "Ministry of Health" is to provide medical support. The "main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations" is responsible for the direct abduction of Ukrainian citizens.
Each of the employees of these structures is known and will be punished for crimes against humanity, the CNR emphasized.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has been deporting Ukrainian citizens from the occupied territories. Mostly, Russians focus on abducting Ukrainian children.
They are usually taken to Crimea, Russia, or Belarus, allegedly for "rehabilitation" camps.
In particular, in early June, the Russian invaders took 150 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region to Russia. Recently, it became known that the occupiers plan to transfer 300 children from the Zaporizhzhia region to the Chuvash Republic.
Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk also reported that Russia is changing the names and dates of birth of deported Ukrainian children.
As of May, 19,393 children were known to have been illegally transferred to Russia from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Today, Ukraine has a state portal for searching for children called Children of War. It contains all the data on missing and deported children to Russia.
