Mural dedicated to strength of Ukrainian women unveiled in war-torn Hostomel
A patriotic mural "Eyes" dedicated to Ukrainian women, was unveiled in Hostomel, the Kyiv region.
The drawing can be found on the wall of the Cultural and Health Complex, located at the Sviato-Pokrovska str, local authorities report.
Iryna Romanchenko is the author of the idea and the artist from Hostomel. She was inspired by the International Mother's Day holiday before drawing the mural. The author was also influenced by interviews with strong-willed women who are mothers, sisters, and relatives of Ukrainian defenders.
The idea of the "Eyes" mural was brought to life by an artist from Kharkiv, Serhiy Redioga, and donators.
